Zusammenfassung: | The aim of the retrospective study was to evaluate incidence of malignant gynaecology diseases during last five years period in Montenegro. According regular gynaecology procedure all patients with diagnosed gynaecological cancers were treated on Department for Gynaecological Oncology Clinical Centre of Montenegro. The recorded data were evaluated for last five years period (2000-2004). Malignant tumours of genital organs account for 9,96% of all malignancies in female population of the state. Most frequent malignant disease is ovarian cancer 38,16%, followed by cervical cancer in 32,5% and endometrial cancer in 22% of the cases. Even diagnostic methods are very simple and available, still incidence of cervical cancer is very high, 20,1 new cases per 100 000 women for year. Comparing data from 5 years ago, there is rising incidence in gynaecological malignant diseases, from 1 index point in 2000 to 1,24 in 2004. The reason is probably consequence from last ten years situation in the region, changes in social security system and health care insurance together with exposure to stress and changed environmental surroundings. Also, there is the highest incidence in middle age population from 40 to 49 years of age 29% what wasn't case in past when malignant diseases were more frequent in advanced age. There is essential to establish better screening program and periodic examination of female population in order to improve prevention and diagnosis in earlier stage of disease, especially for cervical cancers. |
