Zusammenfassung:	The current results of the application of the polymer poly‐ether‐ether‐ketone in implant dentistry are reported with highlight on the benefit for the implant biological outcome while representing an alternative to metal. © 2021 Society of Industrial Chemistry. The implementation of poly‐ether‐ether‐ketone in implant dentistry is highlighted. The applications of the polymer to different oral rehabilitations are covered, and the highlights of recent ongoing research are presented.
