A Case Study on Process Control Technology in order to Achieve Stable Production in Continuous Wet Granulator

This paper describes a continuous wet granulation which production volume is 50 kg/h in 12 hrs using continuous wet granulator (Granuformer®, Freund Corporation).As a result of the tests, we confirmed that the stable production of granules with uniform quality can be achieved, moreover for stable production, measuring granule quality with PAT tools every minute and a continuous air flow dryer are effective.Furthermore, our automatic process technology is useful to control the quality of continuously produced granules and to ensure its uniformity.
