Zusammenfassung: | For a long time it was assumed that indoor air was less polluted than the air outside. Today, this is no longer the case. Air can be polluted for various reasons by biological and non-biological sources. Bioparticles are the main source of biologically based indoor air pollution; they consist mainly of bacteria, mould, fungi, viruses, pollen, etc. These indoor-air bioparticles can have negative effects on human health. This study describes a preliminary idea for detecting the target bioparticles (such as bacteria, fungi, etc.) by developing a prototype that operates on the principle of Mie scattering and luminescence. The main objective is to demonstrate the real-time measured fluorescence spectra of the bioparticles and to prove that the single-particle spectra are able to detect the target bioparticles. The prototype is designed to be combined with a local and a main server, where the data signal is processed using a local oscillator and transmitted with a radio-over-fibre approach. |
