turbulence models are tested, along with the quadratic upstream interpolation for convective kinetics (QUICK) and hybrid advection schemes. Comparisons with experimental results are made for the speed-up and turbulence kinetic energy (TKE) increase. The adopted mesh is Cartesian uniform in the horizontal plane and terrain following with a variable expansion factor in the vertical direction. The QUICK advection scheme leads to better agreement with the experimental data than the hybrid scheme, in particular for the TKE increase. The RNG and standard
