Zusammenfassung:The influence of the pulse energy on the performance of copper electrodes with added graphite in the electrospark piercing of tool steel is studied. With increase in the pulse current, the electrode wear increases, if the other parameters are unchanged. In absolute terms, the wear is less in the presence of thermally expanded graphite and greater in the presence of colloidal graphite.
