Zusammenfassung:An electrodeposited thorium target and a ThO 2 sample were irradiated together with fast neutrons using the Chinese Fast Burst Reactor II. The activities of 233 Pa in both samples were measured and compared to determine the mass of 232 Th deposited on the target. Experimental results showed that the mass of deposited 232 Th was 19.6 μg, and the uncertainty was estimated to be 1.4%.
