O) is determined. By optical microscopy and powder X-ray diffraction it is found that the compound is a well-crystallized powder. EPR spectra of the gadolinium stearate powder with benzoyltrifluoroacetone are measured in the range 103-293 K. The zero field splitting parameter is

= 1329.6 MHz. By DFT calculations it is established that the most probable symmetry point group of the synthesized mixed-ligand complex of gadolinium stearate with benzoyltrifluoroacetone is
