Zusammenfassung:The experimental study results of the mixing layer of subsonic jet exhausting from a convergent axisymmetric nozzle at a Mach number Ma = 0.85 are presented. The mixing layer thickness at the high-speed subsonic jet initial section is determined. The values and histograms of the flow velocity root-mean-square deviations at mixing layer different points are given. The applicability analysis of the panoramic laser PIV method to the structure study, average values and velocity pulsations characteristics in the mixing layer is carried out on the literature data basis on the level of pulsations in subsonic jet flows.
