For the most part, corporate-backed candidates won the elections, but, there were several stunning progressive victories. Some went on to win the general elections, most famously, congressional representative Alexandria-Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib.
