Zusammenfassung:The SSDL-ININ developed the Calibration Measurement Capabilities (CMC) for air kerma (Ka) for X-ray reference beams in the IEC 61267:2005 RQR-M qualities for mammography. In this work the following parameters were determined: namely, the practical peak voltage (PPV) and the first half-value layer (HVL1). Additionally, Monte Carlo (MC) simulations are done to calculate their mean energies (E¯), and to verify that these parameters’ values are within the tolerances indicated by the IEC 61267:2005.
