Zusammenfassung:The topic of the present paper is focused on the study of seven iron anchors, presently located in Midia, Constanţa, Olimp and 2 Mai, which were retrieved during the latest decade most probably through trawling in Constanţa underwater area; at present five of them serve as decorative objects inside some fishing or tourist complexes on the South shoreline Constanţa, and only two are in the custody of a museum - Museum of National History and Archaeology in Constanța.The present research is part of an ample study on the anchorage elements discovered during the last three decades in Constanta underwater area and it has as purpose to highlight the scientific value of these artifacts by providing a description of the technical and physical features, and of their preservation state, by assessing their age and forwarding hypotheses regarding the way and the location in which they were recovered.
