The Cavitation Process in Proximity to an Ultrasonic Waveguide
Ultrasonic cavitation may be accompanied by sonoluminescence - light emission from the cavitation area. The work discusses the connection between two-phase domains and light emission (sonoluminescence). Experimental evidences provide some proves to non-thermal theories of sonoluminescence.
