Zusammenfassung:The article provides a review of the reasons for stress corrosion cracking of petroleum pipeline system, terms of reference of fatigue wear and fracture performance caused by both metal fatigue and fatigue wealth. It is shown that stress corrosion cracking can be associated with fatigue of the pipeline material in the presence of local turbulent flows.
