Zusammenfassung:The article is devoted to estimate of polyethylene-modified polypropylene frost resistance, used as an insulating material for cable products. The standard method for testing of polymer material frost resistance is a drop weight impact test on insulated conductors samples at low temperature. To check this parameter at the stage of incoming polymer inspection to use dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) is proposed. As a result of experimental research by DMA a criterion for estimate of polyethylene-modified polypropylene frost resistance was established.
