Prenatal diagnosis of aortic arch anomalies: Echocardiography, 3D‐ultrasonography, and computed tomography angiogram findings. A case‐report

We report the case of a fetus presenting aortic arch anomalies associated with a ventricular septal defect (VSD). This fetus, which was referred at 25 weeks of gestation, was suspected to have coarctation of aorta (CoA) evidenced by enlarged right chambers at the four‐chamber view during a routine o...

Zusammenfassung:We report the case of a fetus presenting aortic arch anomalies associated with a ventricular septal defect (VSD). This fetus, which was referred at 25 weeks of gestation, was suspected to have coarctation of aorta (CoA) evidenced by enlarged right chambers at the four‐chamber view during a routine obstetric ultrasonographic scan. The prenatal diagnosis of CoA remains a challenge. Here, we review the ultrasonographic findings that could contribute to this diagnosis.
