Zusammenfassung:Objective: Evaluate the impact of diabetes mellitus (DM) on postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms recovery. Materials and Methods: A prospective cross-sectional study. Participants completed “Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory-20” questionnaires during third trimester, and three months postpartum. Statistical analysis was conducted to determine differences between questionnaire scores in both periods, comparing recovery among women with and without diabetes in pregnancy. Results: A total of 192 participants were divided into diabetes (n=66) and control (n=126) groups. At three months postpartum, 114/192 (59.4%) women completed both questionnaires.
