Zusammenfassung: | Polyol esters materials, which have been developed from ethylene glycol, glycerol, pentaerythritol and sorbitol with rosin, were investigated for their formed films and coating properties. Films were dried and characterized for chemical and mechanical resistances. Their films were highly resistant to water, solvents (acetone, toluene and methanol), and acids (10% hydrochloric acid and 20% sulfuric acid) and poorly resistant to alkali (10% sodium hydroxide) as well as adhesion, tensile strength, elongation test, modulus of elasticity, pinhole test and scratching and flexibility tests. Incorporation of ethylene glycol, glycerol, pentaerythritol and sorbitol with rosin was done to achieve good mechanical characteristics and high chemical resistance to these films. Trametes versicolor
and
Gloeophyllum trabeum. |
