Counterpropagating Four-Wave Mixing in Ghost Imaging

The advantages of counterpropagating four-wave mixing in ghost imaging compared to three-wave parametric scattering in terms of an increase in the diffraction limit of the spatial resolution are shown. The necessary formal relations confirming the efficiency of this solution are given.
