Zusammenfassung:An electrochemical cell was created and experimentally tested and the process of intense capacitive deionization (CDI) of aqueous solutions in a cyclic mode was studied. The paper presents a developed mathematical model for CDI process on electrodes with complex structure of pore space. This allows to describe the process and obtain results that are in good agreement with the experimental ones. Model parameters are easily determined at one stage of the deionization process.
