Optimizing the Cutting-Force Vector in Counter Milling
Counter milling with cylindrical and end mills is investigated; in counter milling, the workpiece and mill move in opposite directions. To improve the precision and quality of machining, the diameter and rigidity of the mill must be taken into account in selecting the cutting depth.
