Zusammenfassung:Understanding students' awareness of water shortage and the necessity of rainwater harvesting activities in Jordan is of great importance. The present study aims to asses and compare the perception of students (enrolled in Natural resources Conservation and Water resources courses at University of Jordan – Department of Geography during the academic year 2018/2019) on water issues and rainwater harvesting in Jordan. To address the study goals a 15 – item questionnaire was administered in the end of the spring and summer semesters of the mentioned academic year. The majority of respondents agree that top water issue is conserving water in the face of water shortage in Jordan. Also students were strongly in favour of practicing rainwater harvesting in Jordan. Results of the study suggest more courses regarding water conservation and rainwater harvesting should be offered to all universities students in Jordan in order to provide skills regarding water conservation and harvesting.
