Zusammenfassung: | The coronavirus associated disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus has rapidly spread all around the world and became pandemic in March 2020. Data on liver transplantation and chronic liver disease during the pandemic has remained scarce, and there is little information on whether immunosuppressed patients are at higher risk of developing severe COVID-19 infection. This review provides information for health care providers who care for patients with liver transplantation and chronic liver diseases. |
