Zusammenfassung:The research proposal shows the student’s final project research plan. The quality of the research proposal shows the readiness of students to carry out their research. This study aims to determine the quality of student final project proposals between students who have joined the lecturer research group in preparing their proposals and who have not yet participated in the lecturer research group. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were students taking educational research methodology courses in year 2019 and 2020. Data obtained in the educational research methodology class. Data were collected using proposal assessment rubrics. Data analysis was performed by comparing the value of proposals from the two classes of research. This study’s results indicate that there are differences in the quality of proposals between student final project proposals to students who have joined the lecturer research group in preparing their proposals and who have not yet participated in the lecturer research group. However, based on paired T- Tests showing sig> 0.05, this shows that the difference was not significantly different. The conclusion of this research was the lecturer research group influences the quality of student proposals, but the effect was not significant.
