To support the application of these scales it is possible to use intelligent techniques such as Expert Systems (ES). The public hospital object of study of this work did not present the computerized nursing process. [...]the process was computerized and an ES was used in the application of the scales. Both the nursing process and the ES were implemented and the partial results obtained are positive, but essential for a longer period of analysis and evaluation.
