Zusammenfassung:Adkin talks about acrostic in Apollonius of Rhodes. Castelletti has suggested that the Apollonian acrostic is meant as a political comment on Ptolemy III. At the same time Castelletti still entertains a degree of doubt as to the intentionality of this acrostic. The aim of the present note is to supply new evidence for its deliberateness. This evidence also elucidates a lexical crux.
