Zusammenfassung:The further power spinning (FS) on the cylindrical parts with ultrafine-grained (UFG) structure was carried out to further improve the mechanical properties of the cylindrical parts. The forming quality and microstructural evolution of the spun parts made of ASTM1020 steel during FS were investigated. The results show that the forming quality of the spun part is improved, the equiaxial structure of the grains is remained, and the grain size is increased slightly after FS. The mechanical properties of the cylindrical parts with UFG structure and the influence of the thinning ratio of wall thickness on the mechanical properties were also investigated, and the results show that the cylindrical parts with excellent comprehensive mechanical properties can be obtained by QSA method. The tensile strength and hardness of the parts with UFG structure are increased and the elongation is decreased with the increasing of the thinning ratio of wall thickness. The cylindrical parts made of ASTM1020 steel with high strength and hardness can be obtained by the method combining QSA with FS.
