Zusammenfassung:We study the effect of a tritter, a linear optical circuit of three beam splitters following SU(3) unitary group transformations having three inputs and three output ports, on the ‘Amplitude-Squared Squeezing (ASS)’. We study the variation of ASS with different parameters of the tritter and find that there are a number of conditions where ASS is enhanced at the output of the tritter when we inject light beam exhibiting ASS at one of the input port and light beams in coherent state at another two input ports of the tritter.
