Dynamics of phase space structures arising from counterinjection of O-LREBs into a long equipotential cavity is studied using PIC simulation. It is found that alternating regions of the squeezed state and the two-stream state (phase space holes) are formed in the phase portraits. It is shown that phase space holes tend to diverge from the middle of the cavity to its edges, where they are absorbed. Oscillations superimpose on the directed motion of the phase space holes. Evolution ends up with disappearance of all phase space holes and establishment of the squeezed state over the almost entire length of the cavity. |
