Zusammenfassung:Overlearning might be a reasonable strategy when short-term retention is the goal, such as when cramming for an upcoming exam. [...]the popular method of giving lots of practice problems to achieve overlearning is not a useful strategy for learning that extends beyond the next exam. In these studies learners are randomly assigned to conditions in which the length of time between learning trials, and the length of the retention interval are manipulated. At the 5-Minute University, students learn in 5 minutes everything the average college student will remember 5 years after graduation.
