Zusammenfassung:The deformation mechanisms and enhanced mechanical properties of a fine-grained 304 L stainless steel were revealed at liquid nitrogen temperature. A remarkable Lüders-type deformation and subsequent dislocation slipping/accumulation deformation synergistically contribute to its good ductility. The enhanced strength was resulted from low-temperature strengthening and high density of dislocation storage hardening.
