Zusammenfassung: | Denis Burkitt found the first case of a "lymphoma" in children from the region of Africa, which double its size every 24 hours. A Nineteen years male adolescent was admitted in the hospital with the chief complaints of highgrade fever along with Fatigue, Giddiness. The most common treatment for BL is intensive chemotherapy, which usually lasts for a month, but may also last up to 8 months. Children with BL having survival rates better than adults. Burkitt's lymphoma is associated with a particular translocation t(8:14)(q24:q23) that juxtaposes the MYC/c-Myc gene (8q24). It represents around half of all malignant non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in children and around 2% in adults in Europe and North America. In Africa, BL accounts for 30-50% of all childhood cancer. the standard treatment for BL is intensive chemotherapy, which usually lasts for a month, but may also last up to 8 months. When diagnosed early, the survival rate higher than 90%. Most of the physicians will choose chemotherapy and some other treatment options based on disease complexity and patient progress.
