Zusammenfassung: | In this article, the author notes that this issue marks her transition from incoming editor to editor, and thanks Craig Anderson for serving as associate editor. The author has been watching the events of 2020 as they relate to media psychology; there are so many. To inspire and capture excellent science on the psychology of popular media during this era, Elizabeth Cohen intrepidly agreed to spearhead a special issue related to popular media in this era of multiple crises. As overseeing editor for the special issue, Elizabeth is joined by three special issue editors, Arienne Ferchaud, Omotayo Banjo, and Benjamin Johnson. The Special Issue will be appearing soon.
