Zusammenfassung: | Wetlands purification has attracted attention as an energy-saving water purification method. Recently, the development of a subsurface flow-constructed wetland system has enabled the treatment of high-concentration organic wastewater. In this study, we compared the processing capability of a subsurface flow-constructed wetland system via comparison with a conventional wetland purification method. The results indicate that the BOD and T-N removal improved by around 14 times and 12 times respectively, with respect to the conventional wetland purification method. If the required area can be secured, application of the subsurface flow-constructed wetland system (energy-saving water treatment method) is feasible, which can replace the activated sludge method and be used for various purposes. |
