Zusammenfassung:In this work, we show controlled spatial and spectral modulation of local dielectric polarization in amorphous organic Alq 3 : DCM host: guest medium. We use self-strained silicon-dioxide microbeams to apply tensile strain on thin films at different DCM doping. From the measured spectral shift of the emission peak, we estimate the orientational polarizability (and in turn dielectric polarizability) in the strained host: guest medium at different guest doping. Orientational polarizability in the thin film follows a linear relationship with applied tensile strain at different guest material doping while the strain sensitivity shows an inverse relationship with guest doping.
