Zusammenfassung: | The Giovanni Arvedi Auditorium is a musical space that was born inside the Cremona Violin Museum, to enhance the sound of the violins and the other instruments collected there. Through this study, the Arvedi turns out to be an auditorium with high potential, flexible characteristics as a multifunctional hall. The paper describes the project and characterizes the sound field through measures. The description of the sound quality has required numerous objective parameters, the main ones of them are already identified for other types of buildings. The measures allow us to highlight the peculiarities of this space and to better define its possible uses. |
