Zusammenfassung: | A comparative analysis of the microstructure formed in EBF3 samples of Ti–6Al–4V, obtained from horizontally and vertically grown bars, was carried out. It has been established that the 3D-printing strategy has a significant effect on the shape and size of primary p grains, on the volume fraction of the p-phase and the residual macro-stresses formed in EBF3-fabricated Ti–6Al–4V samples. The influence of the morphological anisotropy of primary p grains on the value of impact strength, as well as the nature of fracture propagation in the investigated EBF3 samples of Ti–6Al–4V, during their dynamic tests, is analyzed. |
