Zusammenfassung:	In this randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, phase 2 trial, the efficacy and safety of once-weekly treatment with the basal insulin analogue icodec were compared with those of once-daily insulin glargine U100 in patients with type 2 diabetes who had not taken insulin. Once-weekly icodec had glucose-lowering efficacy and a safety profile similar to those of once-daily glargine.
