The gastronomic diary "A Taste of Viseu", created by the Confraria Saberes e Sabores da Beira Grao Vasco, aims to contribute to the knowledge and dissemination of the traditional gastronomic culture of the Viseu region and to its appreciation as a cultural heritage, providing the user with an engaging and original experience. With destinations increasingly seeking to enhance their gastronomy, this study provides a concrete example that demonstrates that identical meals can provide completely different experiences. Para a World Food Travel Association (2019) o turismo gastronómico já nao é mais um segmento do turismo, é o Core da experiencia da viagem e um Must no marketing de destinos.
