Zusammenfassung: | Black rice Cempo Ireng is one of the functional food resources that have high levels of fiber content, protein, and anthocyanin. But, black rice paddy has a high stem, long harvesting period, and low productivity. It can be fixed by conducting induction mutation with gamma rays. This research aims to Obtain strains M5 having the character Agronomy best short harvesting age, short stem, and high productivity by 300 gray gamma radiation rays with pedigree selection method. Research conduct in Taru hamlet, village Tempel, Gatak sub-district, district Sukoharjo, Central Java in August 2017 until January 2018. Rice black used originates from the M4 (M-300-295-9-08, M-300-251 -24-13, and M- 300-291-4-46) and control (without radiation) with a population of 300 plants each. Observation data samples derived from 10% a population of plants. Each sample can be observed flowering age, harvesting age, the height of the plant, seeds yield per panicles, and a density index. The research results show weighted the age of black rice flowering each a mutant M5 (59, 66, 52) weighted the age of harvest (115, 115, 108), tall plant (117.5 weighted, 117.5, 145.8), forage yield per weighted (panicles 149.67, 146.84, 202.13) and the weighted index that flash of (panicles 6:37, 6:36, 7.71). Based on the outcome of this research, 300 gray radiation gamma rays cause to change on each observed and variables are having the character of Agronomy best namely M-300-291-4-46 66, 52) weighted the age of harvest (115, 115, 108), a tall plant (117.5 weighted, 117.5, 145.8), forage yield per weighted (149.67 panicles, 146.84, 202.13) and the weighted index that flash of (6:37 panicles, 6:36, 7.71).
