Zusammenfassung: | In-situ ion-beam induced luminescence (IBIL) measurements have been carried out to study evolution of defects in Zirconia (ZrO2). UV-Visible luminescence spectra have been recorded during the low-energy irradiation of ZrO2 with various ion doses. Interesting spectral changes have been observed during He+ion irradiation. In contrast, such changes of IBIL spectra are absent during O+ ion irradiation, indicating possible recovery of radiation damages. Results discussed show the potential of IBIL spectroscopy to explore in-situ modifications of materials during the ion irradiation. |
