They fill their free time with gardening, cooking, baking, beekeeping, and foraging. In their COVID-19 lives, they have approached these activities, previously relegated to the status of hobby, with an unprecedented fervor. While the world around them feels utterly full of despair and chaos, they are relishing this found time to focus on their favorite activities, and soaking up the sense of control and agency the kitchen, garden, and beehive provide at a time when nothing else feels within their control.
