Zusammenfassung:We present quasi-elastic neutron scattering measurements of liquid normal hydrogen under saturated vapor pressure. Empirical estimates of the self-diffusion constant are generally in good agreement with previous nuclear magnetic resonance studies. We consider available theoretical calculations of the transport properties of liquid hydrogen as well as the applicability of the Stokes–Einstein relation to this quantum liquid.
