Zusammenfassung: | Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus; Bone Mineral Density; Body Mass Index; Handgrip Strength; Endurance time INTRODUCTION Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the world's leading health problems and it is also a major health concern in India. Early identification of reduction in bone mass in diabetic patients may be helpful in preventing bone loss and future fracture risk. According to the WHO classification of BMI, participants were then categorized into three groups as normal weight BMI 18.5-24.9 kg/m2, overweight BMI 24.9-29.9 kg/m2, and obese >30 kg/m2. The T-score value is the number of standard deviations by which the current patient's SOS value exceeds or falls below the mean. |
