Zusammenfassung:Three new homoleptic cadmium (II) dithiocarbamate complexes having molecular formula [Cd(KL) 2 ], (KL1 = C 15 H 13 N 1 F 1 S 2 ) (1) ; (L2 = C 13 H 11 N 1 F 1 S 2 ) (2) ; (L3 = C 11 H 14 N 1 O 1 S 2 ) (3) , have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopy (IR, 1 H and 13 CNMR and UV–Vis). Single crystal X-ray studies confirm that the complex 1 crystallises in Orthorhombic with space group P na21 and holding dimeric structure. In this complex Cd 2+ having distorted octahedral geometry about the metal centre forms 1D coordination polymeric structures. The dimeric form of complex 2 and 3 crystallizes in triclinic crystal lattice with space group P-1.
