Zusammenfassung:The objective of this study is to evaluate the performance of the spark-ignition engine using experimental methods and Design of Experiment with Ethanol produced from water hyacinth in various proportions. There are four factors considered Blend, Speed, Throttle positioning Sensor, and compression ratio with five levels. L25 orthogonal array was developed with various load conditions and from that engine performance has been studied with engine output parameters brake power, specific fuel consumption, brake thermal efficiency, volumetric efficiency, and A/F ratio. The regression model of ANOVA F test indicates effect of each parameter on engine performance and output.
