Zusammenfassung:In this work the coating technique adopted for the preparation of zinc oxide thin film is sol-gel spin coating method. The materials used for the fabrication of ZnO thin film are zinc acetate dehydrate, 2-methoxy ethanol and monoethanolamide. The optical characteristics wereanalysed with the help of transmittance spectra obtained from UV -visible spectroscopy. All samples were annealed at different temperatures ranging from 35°C to 75°C. When analyzing it is found that the optical characteristics are strongly depend on the annealing temperature. The transmittance is maximum above 400nm wavelength for all samples and it is about 80% from 400nm to 800nm. When analyzing the absorption spectrum it is also found that the absorption coefficient is also depends on annealing temperature. The optical band gap is found decreasing when annealing temperature increases.
