Zusammenfassung:This study was performed at GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital, Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine Service between the years 1997 and 2000. We searched therapeutic efficiency of Hyperbaric oxygen Therapy (HBO2) by measuring Transcutaneous partial oxygen and CO2 pressures (TcPO2 and TcPCO2) in patients who had wounds caused by diabetes Mellitus. There were 50 cases in our study. Thirty of them were the study group who had been treated with HBO2 and twenty of them were the control group who had been treated with therapeutic regimens without HBO2. TcPO2 and TcPCO2 measurements of the therapy group were made at the begining, 15th session and 30th session of therapy. We detected a significant increase at TcPO2 when we compared the results (p0.05). By the way, a significant decrease was found between pre-therapy and 30th session, and also 15th session and 30th session (p
