Anesthetic management of a patient with Takayasu's arteritis

Takayasu's arteritis is a rare, idiopathic and chronic inflammatory disease. We report the successful anesthetic management of a 39- year-old woman with Takayasu's arteritis, in whom visual disturbance occurred after total abdominal hysterectomy.
