Zusammenfassung:In recent years, inorganic iron species has become essentially pertinent in water, liquid beverages and food samples. There are many different methods for speciation studies. But most of them have an expensive and complicated structure. In this study, a simple, sensitive and inexpensive method of speciation was carried out. The FAAS device was used for all of the iron deposition in the samples. The iron in the sample was reduced to Fe (II) by hydroxylamine hydrochloride to form Fe (II) -1,10 phenanthroline orange-red complex. The amount of Fe (II) in the resulting colored complex was determined by UV-visible instrument.Once the total of the iron was determined by FAAS, the amount of Fe (HI) in the sample was calculated by subtracting the content of Fe(II) from content of total Fe. Under the optimized conditions, detection limit (3sblank/m) of 0.015 μgmL-1 was obtained from the calibration curve constructed in the range of 0.5-5.0 μgmL-1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.997 for Fe(II).
